T3 Connection
A T3 connection, also called DS3 connection, will give you 45 MB of dedicated bandwidth.A T3 is equal to 28 With 24 channels per T1, a T3 for voice will give you 672 channels (24x28). A T3 is great to have when you need dedicated bandwidth and ethernet is not available. It is also cost effective when you have several T1's (or bonded T1's) and are either increasing the number of T1's or plan to do so in the future. Price-wise a T3 starts becoming a viable alternative to T1's when you get to about ten T1's. Then, you need to compare pricing between the several T1's and T3's. There are also fractional T3's. If you have several T1's or bonded T1's but do not need the full 45 MB from the T3, it is a good idea to compare them to a fractional T3. If you do not need a dedicated connection, business cable can be a more cost effective option than a T3. However, if business cable is not in your area and you need the bandwidth, a T3 is the way to go.
