Internet For Business

internet for Are you looking for internet for your business?

If so, you have come to the right place.

Compared to shopping for home internet, shopping for business internet is much different.

For example, at home your choices are usually cable, dsl, fixed wireless, or dial-up. Unless they have absolutely no choice whatsoever, hardly anyone is using dial-up anymore.

That leaves the cable, dsl, or fixed wireless. Most people are aware of cable and dsl. Fixed wireless uses cell towers with a small antennae at your location that picks up a signal. The speeds are 1mb-2mb depending on the signal strength.

Fixed wireless is a great alternative for your home when cable or dsl is not available.

Internet options for your business are a whole other story.

Besides the options mentioned above, you also have T1 with it's variety of choices such as fractional T1 or bonded T1.

Because T1's are made up of a loop and port price and the fact that the loops are the same price as the full T1's, most business's choose the full T1's.

Really, there aren't many carriers offering fractional T1's anymore anyway because of that.

The bonded T1 gives your business speeds up to 12 mbps. That's eight T1's bonded together.

From there you can move on to a full DS3 at 45 mpbs or a number of choices for a fractional DS3.

Then, besides T1's and DS3's, you now have a choice of ethernet options for your business.

Ethernet speeds run anywhere from 2 mb all the way up to a Gig . That is a lot of bandwidth to choose from!

With cable, dsl, fixed wireless, T1, DS3, and ethernet, you also have a lot to choose from for internet for your business.

Throw in multiple locations and then you're adding point to point circuits, MPLS , and it just goes on and on.

With all these choices, you need someone that keeps up with the newest technology on a regular basis.
