Telecom Network Optimization
TelSolutions telecommunications consultants will perform a network optimization review to determine if your telecom network is running at peak efficiency.
We look at your invoices and your telecommunications environment as if it were own and ask ourselves "what would we do in this situation?".
1) The first thing we do is itemize all services and fees including:POTS LinesTrunk LinesAny line featuresT1's, PRI's, and any other voice and data circuitsAny mileage charges associated with circuitsminutes, amounts,etc.Wireless chargesEquipment chargesErroneous charges (for credits and savings)
2) Second, we analyze all services to determine the following:How is the service being usedWhy is the service being usedIs the service cost effectiveAre there more cost effective services to replace itAre costs correct? (for credits and savings)
3)Third, we evaluate alternative services to determine which is the most cost effective including:Can we replace POTS/Trunks with T1's or PRI'sWill VOIP and/or SIP create savings?Can we replace frame relay with MPLS to create savings?Is Ethernet available to replace T1's and other circuits to create savings?Will consolidating account create savings?
4) After our network optimization analysis is complete, the findings are presented in the form of recommendations. For example:The following lines are ring no answer and show no usage. Eliminating them will save x amountThe following fax and modem lines are paying for caller id. Eliminating the caller id will save x amountReplacing point-to-point circuits with MPLS will save x amountThe following data circuits are out of contract and billing the tariffed rate. Signing a new contract for the same circuits will save x amountReplacing data circuits with ethernet will save x amountRouting voice over your data network will save x amountThe following taxes should not be chargedThe following surcharge is billing incorrectly
